The Drifter is a 60-foot long party fishing boat that has been family owned and operated for over 30 years.
The finest in electronics for safety, navigation and fish finding have been installed to make your trips pleasant and safe. Everything that is needed for fishing is provided, including rod and reel, bait, instruction, and fishing license. The Drifter is located at Palmetto Bay Marina on the south end of Hilton Head. Palmetto Bay Marina is conveniently located off of Palmetto Bay Road with ample parking and no gate fee.

Deep Sea Fishing
First time anglers, as well as experienced fishermen can catch Black Sea Bass, Whiting, Bluefish, Weakfish and occasionally shark and Spanish Mackerel. You will be fishing at an artificial reef 5 miles offshore of Hilton Head.. A great time for the whole family.

Shark Fishing
This trip will appeal to those who do not care to go offshore fishing. Traveling time to the shark fishing grounds is only 30 minutes. The sharks that can be caught include black tip, dusky, hammerhead, lemon, sharpnose, bonnethead and bull sharks. The number of passengers on this trip will be limited . Be sure to specify ‘shark fishing’ when you make your reservation.

The Crew
Our friendly, courteous, experienced crew offer personalized service to the novice or expert fisherman. They will be glad to assist you in baiting your hook and boating your catch. Captain licensed by U.S. Coast Guard.
Fishing Trips
• 4 1/2 Hour Deep Sea Fishing – $73 Adults, $63 Children 12 and under – March through November
• 3 Hour Shark Fishing Trip – $65 Adults, $55 Children 12 and under – June through August
